Why bravery is important in life

We all have fear in life, so we need to have bravery and face our fears. The book I Am Malala talks about a girl from Pakistan who was brave enough to speak against the Taliban. Bravery is important in life because, we need bravery to face our fears and overcome obstacles our life.

Facing fears in life can help you succeed in life. For example, you could be able to speak in front of a big crowd and with first place. “ If it is our home, school, or anywhere. This is our request to the world save our school, save our Pakistan, save our Swat.” I said hopeful,” However, you could be able to stand up for someone who’s getting bullied. My friend was able to gather the bravery to stand up to the bully bullying someone else. These were some reasons why facing fears could help you succeed.

Overcoming obstacles in life could help in many ways. For example, you could finally be able to go on the roller coasters with your whole family. My sister was brave enough to go on the roller coaster so we could go as a family again. Or, you could go to a haunted house with your friends. I was at a haunted house with my friends and one of my friends was going there for the first time. She gathered the the bravery she needed to go in the haunted house with us. These were some reasons overcoming obstacles in life can help you. These were some reasons bravery is important in life.

These were some reasons bravery is important in life.

Malala’s voice

Malala made her voice heard by making a blog so people can hear about girls not being allowed to have a education. She wanted people to hear how scary it was for girls to walk to a secret school without getting caught. “My friends and I were a little bit scared as we made our way to school on that first forbidden day.” Malala and her friends didn’t want to be caught on their way to school. She wanted people to hear why girls can’t go to school. Malala posted a blog post about why girls can’t go to school so the whole world could see what’s going on in Swat. These were some reasons Malala made her voice heard so girls can go to school.

Malala’s Education

Education is so important to Malala, because she wants to be educated unlike other  women who have trouble reading. Malala’s mother has trouble reading. “But to see my mother, a proud and intelligent women, struggle to read the prices at the bazaar.” Malala’s mother has trouble reading to price tags. Having a education in life gives you a lot more opportunities. In fact, if you have a good education you can pay bills for your house, and buy things you need for you, etc. These were some reasons why education was so important to Malala, so she won’t have trouble when she has to pay for things, reading books, have the right amount of food for her meal, etc.

The Differences and Similarities of Communication

People can talk to a person next to them and make a funny face, however talking through technology means you  can talk, even if you are far away from each other. While some differences between communicating in person and communicating with technology are noticeable the similarities are striking.

Here are some similarities between communicating in person and communicating with technology. 1.You need to be careful about what you say. You could say something mean when communicating with a friend in person and when communicating with technology. It’s necessary to be careful of what you say because you could hurt their feelings. 2.People could bully you both ways, cyberbullying and bullying in real life. Be careful when communicating with technology or in person, because people could bully you. I was online and someone sent me a mean text. The next day the bully at school bullied me and my friends. There are some similarities between communicating in person and communicating with technology.

Here are some differences between communicating in person and communicating with technology. 1.You have to have wi-fi to talk to someone with technology. My friend and I were talking on the phone, but then I walked into an area where there is no connection so my friend and I disconnected. You don’t need wi-fi to talk to people in person because you are right by each other, even in the middle of nowhere. 2. When communicating in person you have to be right next to each other. I was communicating with my friend in technology when she was in a different state than me and we could still talk to each other. You have to be next to each other if you want to communicate in person. There are some differences in communicating with technology and communicating in person.

While some of the differences between communicating with technology and communicating in person were noticeable the similarities were striking. I think communicating with technology to “hang out” just makes us lazy, because you are not going out to have fun. If you’re communicating in person and going out to hang out is great. You have a lot more fun than just sitting on your device, and you can get to see a lot more things.

A Sweet Victory

We put the candy canes in our mouths,

and we were off.

Trying to get as many candy canes as we could,

with the end of another candy cane.

As I was biting into the candy cane,

I could taste the sweet taste,

of the candy cane.

It was as sweet as a cherry.

It was so cool,

seriously,

the room was cold,

like a mint and a cold drink.

The timer was ringing with joy,

RING!

The round was over,

I ended with 5,

And my friend ended with none.

Sweet, sweet victory.

“Don’t Judge” Reflection of “Out of my Mind” book

                                                When people say dumb

                                              She makes the quiz team,

                                               When people say stupid

                                                    She makes a 100,

                                                 When people say weird

                                                    She surprises them,

                                                   When people say weak

                                                 She proves them wrong,

Don’t judge them be their friend,

                                                  Also get to know them

                                                They may just surprise you.

Literary Response

Here are some ways Melody has changed in “Out of my Mind.” First, Melody’s new puppy Butterscotch was as happy as a 5 year old kid who got money on their birthday. “When he set it on the floor in front of me, out exploded a flash of wiggling gold fun. A puppy!” Without a doubt, Melody was so happy when she got to go to a regular classroom like a baby bird who learned how to fly. “But these classes were supposed to give kids like me a chance to interact with what everyone else calls normal students.” To tell you the truth, Melody drives in her new wheelchair like a happy, happy kid. “The wheels are almost like car tires, which makes the ride smooth and easy.” And these are some ways Melody has changed in “Out of my Mind.”
